The Alpha EVO series from Focal Professional offers high performance at a price level in line with the needs of home and project studios, musicians and DJ producers. This is another important addition that the French company adds to its long experience dedicated to the research and development of efficient and innovative listening solutions that have positioned it among the leaders in various areas of the audio industry.

In the Alpha EVO (EVO stands for Evolution) amplified studio monitors, Focal has revamped the design, introduced new technologies and greater versatility, thanks to a 1/4" TRS jack input, which joins the XLR and RCA connections, a cone built with Slatefiber technology produced exclusively by the French company in its Saint-Étienne factory, and a 1" inverted dome aluminum tweeter.

Designed for music production and listening, Focal Alpha EVO powered monitors provide excellent sonic coherence for your location. To optimize performance, Focal has chosen a 1-inch inverted dome aluminum tweeter to ensure excellent and wide high frequency dispersion within the listening station and a special Slatefiber cone. This mid-bass woofer is manufactured exclusively by Focal in the Saint-Étienne factory and is distinguished because it is made of recycled carbon fiber amalgamated with thermoplastic polymer. The compound gives the cone a distinctive and pleasant coloration tending toward blue. The combination of these two materials results in respectable acoustic performance on the transduction velocity, rigidity and damping fronts, which provide for excellent dynamics and a more natural balance across the spectrum. Focal was the first company in audio in the world to use recycled carbon fiber in transducers.

The cabinet of Focal Alpha EVO 65 amplified studio speakers is made of 15mm-thick MDF reinforced by an internal structure that makes them extremely robust while minimizing acoustic susceptibility even at high sound pressure levels.
The bass-reflex takes advantage of a large front opening for laminar airflow aimed at containing turbulence and distortion on the reproduced signal. This results in excellent integration into any listening setup, whether home, on van or in a treated room. Focal's customary attention to design has led to the addition of eye-catching side panels consisting of plastic panels that perfectly match both the acoustic performance concept and the aesthetic objective
